Every parent wants only the best for their child. My wife and I wanted a well-balanced school where our son could be himself, explore, and learn all at the same time. We wanted him to be part of a community that nurtured his growth and allowed him to reach his potential. We found all of that and more in TLC.
Even if I knew that TLC was the best choice for my son, I was still quite anxious when the school year began. My wife would constantly reassure me that everything was going to be alright but I had a lot of needless apprehensions since I did not enjoy my preschool years.
I wasn’t sure if Pako would fit in or make friends and I was worried that the transition would be difficult for him. With some thought, I realized that this journey was actually not just his but for the both of us. For my son it was officially becoming a preschooler and for me, it was allowing him to be one.
When Pako finally started in TLC, he loved it. He would come home saying, “I got fun, Papa” and of course this would put a smile on my face. His teachers would send photos and videos of the activities they had for the day and this would really make me feel at ease.
Every morning when I drop him off, he gathers his bag, waves goodbye, and gives me a reassuring smile that it’s going to be a great day for him and in turn, for me as well.
His remarkable preschool experience would not be possible without the outstanding teachers, teacher aides, and school personnel. I commend them for their patience, knowledge, and genuine care for my boy and the other children in the school. I am truly grateful for all that they have done and continue to do to ensure that each child has the best preschool experience.
